The Columbus Crew & Kaleidoscope Youth Center both began in 1994.
KYC and the Crew: OGs in Ohio, and both proudly supported by The Nordecke. We invite you to participate in our annual Prideraiser campaign for our four games from May 31 through June 29 to benefit our friends at the Kaleidoscope Youth Center.
How do I make a Prideraiser Pledge?
- Pledge an amount for every goal scored by our Columbus Crew during the four games.
- Donate to Kaleidoscope Youth Center using the emailed donation link at the end of the month.
- We will Remind you when the campaign concludes, too.
KYC is “the largest and longest-standing organization in Ohio solely dedicated to serving and supporting queer youth. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we work to provide a safer place, programming, and leadership opportunities so that youth can be free to explore who they are and empowered to become their confident, truest self.” The youth service agency serving the Central Ohio area is a community organization that provides a safe space Drop-In Center, daily virtual and in-person programing, housing support for homeless or housing insecure young people, professional training, consulting, advocacy, and “is the state hub for Ohio GSA (Genders and Sexualities Alliance) Network”.
The Nordecke believes that when we are able to be who we truly are and love who we truly love we are all better off. Our commitment to bringing that about is the focus of this campaign but it lasts year round.
