Nordecke Cup Weekend 12/11-12/12
Starting on 12/11 the Nordecke will kick off an amazing weekend of Crew fun for all those interested in attending. All the events are open to the general public so members and non-members alike can attend.
12/11 at Land-Grant Brewing:
Starting at 1 pm the Nordecke FIFA Cup will launch for those participating at Land-Grant Brewing in Franklinton. Those competing will have a chance to win a variety of prizes with the first place winner taking home an authentic 2022 Columbus Crew Kit (yes it is yellow) courtesy of the Crew!
At 3 pm Land-Grant will switch over any TVs not being used by the tournament to the MLS Cup and Host the Official Nordecke MLS Cup watch party!
12/12 at Historic Crew Stadium:
Starting at 9 am the gates will open for those interested in attending and participating in the 2021 Nordecke Cup. The Cup will be played on the hallowed pitch of Historic Crew Stadium one final time before moving to Lower.Com Field in 2022. The tournament will kick off at 10 am with participants playing for a variety of prizes, with the winning team taking home authentic 2022 Columbus Crew Kits (yes it is yellow) courtesy of the Crew!
In addition to being able to cheer on your fellow supporters, Nordecke members are encouraged to bring blankets to donate or attend a blanket-making party in the Upper 90 Club hosted by Madison Zardes as she works to make 100 blankets to donate to the Van Buren Shelter this winter.
Throughout the Nordecke Cup, we will have food and beverages on-site for those interested. Though items will be limited inside the bubble due to the playing surface.
